Robin's Quilt  (2002) This is a commission I am presently working on.  Robin prepared all the stained glass blocks.  The original block is a pattern by Three Swans Studio called 'Vineyard'.  It is the first block on the left, third row down. The overlaid patterns are Robin's original designs and each holds it's own special meaning. I was commissioned to do all the Zig-Zag Stitching on the black leading and hand and machine embroider various blocks and to machine quilt it.

For those who enjoy trivia, here's a few stats. Robin spent approximately 240 hours preparing the blocks.  This includes the applique. So far, I've spent 54 hours doing the zig-zag stitch, 6 hours of embroidery.  The Borders are stained glass as well and are being worked on and this project will be machine quilted in October, 2002.  Finished size will be 60" x  74". This is Robin's first quilt project.
